BandwidthBank Node Network — Share & Earn ("the extension") lets you voluntarily share a portion of your unused internet bandwidth with trusted network partners, via the open-source Mellowtel library, in exchange for a monetary reward paid out through PayPal. This policy explains, in full, what data the extension collects, how each piece of data is used, and every party it is shared with.

When you opt in, a fraction of your idle bandwidth is used by Mellowtel's network partners to access public web pages, similar to how a web browser itself works. This does not give us, or Mellowtel, access to your personal accounts, your saved passwords, or your own browsing activity. Sharing is fully opt-in and can be turned off at any time from the extension's popup ("Manage bandwidth sharing settings" link). We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with any party beyond the two listed above.
Your anonymous device identifier and balance are kept for as long as you have the extension installed and active. If you submit a withdrawal, your PayPal email is retained for bookkeeping and to resolve any payment issues. You can request deletion at any time — see section 6.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at the email below. Since your account is not linked to a name or email by default, please include your anonymous device ID (visible in the extension's storage) or the PayPal email you used for withdrawal, so we can locate your record.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the extension after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
